Xavier Freixedas was born on March 25 th, 1973 in Vilafranca del Penedès. With an economics background, he began his professional career in the banking sector. It was in 1998 when he began his career in the wine sector where he already has 20 years of experience, always carrying out the tasks of general management.
In 1998, he entered as CEO of Cavas Lavernoya. In a short time, the company began to generate profits. Sales in 1998 were € 250,000 and the turnover was close to € 2,000,000.
In 2015, he acquired the duties of Wine and Cava Manager at Bardinet, boosting the products among the existing Bardinet customers and serving as a link between the wineries of Bardinet and the General Management of Bardinet. Nowadays, he is the General Director of Mont Marçal.
