Our Mas Marçal range, closely linked to the image of transition between the foundation of the company and its dynamic evolution towards the demands of the market close to our customers, is synonymous of tradition, innovation and courage. We are characterized by the desire to stay anchored to the past, but always keeping our eyes open to a constantly changing future to provide a small touch of regeneration and modernity. Our aim is to produce wines achievable to the tastes of different customer segments.

Tasting notes

Colour: Intense cherry violet pillory with bright medium depth.

Bouquet: Medium intensity, toasted notes of tobacco, rich black fruit, dried figs and a balsamic and mineral touch.

Palate: Smooth attack, pronounced sweet and succulent tannins. All food bodied and structured wine, persistent and with a pleasant fruity aftertaste.

Elaboration

The decision for the harvesting date for this variety is based on the phenolic ripeness. We work with cold pasta, controlling attentively oxidations in order not to lose freshness. The fermentation is done with great delicacy, when it finishes the wine remains in stainless tanks to take it to our bottling lines.

Gastronomy and recommendations

Because of the freshness of the wine, it is ideal for meat-based dishes such as grills, roasts, stews, etc. Matching very well with cheeses and cured meats, meats and smoked fishes.
